The house consists of two double bedrooms with a private bathroom as well as a spacious twin room with a private bathroom. The living area spills into your very own private swimming pool which falls neatly into the horizon beyond the Meru plains. Elsa’s Private House provides guests with their very own piece of Kopje paradise. Elsa’s Kopje was made famous by the film ‘Born Free’ and George Adamson’s lions.
Meru National Park, in the old Northern Frontier District, is wild Africa at its most alluring. Located on the Mughwango Hill in Meru National park, Elsa’s Private House enjoys breathtaking views over the plains to the foothills of Mount Kenya. On game drives and guided nature walks you virtually have the Park to yourselves. Your game viewing is likely to include herds of buffalo, oryx, gerenuk, elephant, zebra, reticulated giraffe, the elusive Lesser Kudu, leopard, cheetah and hyena. This area is renowned for its elephant herds and fantastic flora and scenery. You may also like to try your hand at fishing or take the plunge and raft the nearby Tana River.
