May I introduce Naledi…

Kitimetse, a famed member of the Abu elephant herd, gave birth to a beautiful female calf on Nov 27th. She has been named Naledi, meaning ‘star’ in Setswana. This lucky little girl is the newest member of Abu Camp’s elephant herd. Abu is devoted to the highest standards in elephant welfare and is located in the heart of one of Africa’s most magnificent wilderness areas, the Okavango Delta. This camp offers a unique opportunity to interact with the elephants on their turf, whether it be exploring the wilderness on an elephant-back safari or walking along side the herd as they go about their day which can include a swim or a luxurious mud bath. Little Naledi will surely be a delight to observe as she gets to know her new home and family.
