The lunar rainbow, also known as a “moonbow”, is a spectacular natural phenomenon that can only be seen during a full moon and is created when moonlight is refracted by water particles in the air (ever-present from the spray of the Falls). Victoria Falls, on the border between Zimbabwe & Zambia, is one of the few places on earth where this impressive sight occurs regularly.
